First, let me introduce the A-Ji(Spelled as Eo-Jee). It answers to "Why Sejong the Great made a new character for the Korean Language - 'Han-Geul'? " At first, The book of "HunMinJeongEum" - The real name of new Korean language - is written by Chinese characters, because this it is for explaining and publicizing the HunMinJeongEum itself to people. The following images are what is written in that book. The first line is original text; second is its spellings, the last is my translations.

In the reign of Sejo the Great, this book is translated into Korean and called as Hun-Min-Jung-Eum Un-Hae. The Un-Hae has one part named 'A-Ji' in the preface, which explain the characters, their sound, and using method. You can see A-Ji in Eun-Hae in following image. You will find somewhat different mark next to the Chinese characters. Yes, they are the characters of Jeong-Eum. The combinations of line, hatch and circle goes to a word of Jeong-Eum.
